Our Covid Procedures

SCL are your trusted provider and during the Covid-19 pandemic we have provided vital support clubs to over 1,500 critical worker and vulnerable children.

Our Covid-Safe operating procedures mean that your children are having fun in a safe environment.

OUR COVID-19 PROCEDURES:

• Activities held outside: We will be using outside spaces, where possible. If this is not possible due to weather constraints, we will increase ventilation of our indoor spaces.
• Increased hygiene practices: Staff will be encouraging increased hygiene practices, including hand washing, particularly before eating.
• PPE provided to all delivery staff: All staff will be wearing face coverings at all times while inside.
• Regular cleaning: ‘High touch’ areas and multi-use equipment will be regularly cleaned with sanitiser.
• Children grouped into bubbles: Groups of staff and children will be kept as consistent as possible each day.
• Testing: Staff will be completing a Lateral Flow Test three times a week.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS:

Face coverings:

While most of our collection points do not require parents to enter the delivery space; for any that do, we request that you wear a face covering on entering the settings.

Social distancing:

Please ensure that you maintain social distancing measures when dropping off or collecting your children.

Positive cases in a household:

We are implementing the ruling that should there be a positive case in the household, we would not be able to accept the child into the setting.

If this is the case, we can move the booking to a new date at the next holiday period or will provide a full refund.

It is important that you inform SCL as soon as possible if a positive case is identified, if you have attended SCL clubs within a week of a positive test.
